Disclosure of information
Under the Act on Access to Information Held by Administrative Organs (Act No. 42 of 1999), anyone can request the disclosure of administrative documents held by Digital Agency.
In principle, administrative documents requested for disclosure will be disclosed, except for non-disclosure information stipulated by law.

2. Reception hours for disclosure requests at the counter
From 9:30 to 17:00 on days other than administrative holidays
(except between noon and 13:00)

3. Acceptance of disclosure requests by mail
Please send it by mail to the address of the above public counter. Requests by facsimile or e-mail are not accepted.

5. Payment of Disclosure Request Fee
The disclosure request fee is 300 yen per administrative document related to the disclosure request.
Disclosure request fees are collected only by revenue stamps. Whether you send a disclosure request by mail or submit it directly to the counter, be sure to attach a revenue stamp equivalent to 300 yen per request.
6. Search of administrative document file management books
You can search the administrative document file management book of Digital Agency from the administrative document file management book of each administrative organ of the country. Please use it to specify the administrative document you request, etc.

8. Procedures after making a disclosure request
When a disclosure request is received, a decision on disclosure or non-disclosure is made within 30 days in principle, and the requester is notified in writing.
If a decision has been made to disclose administrative documents, the administrative documents may be disclosed by attaching a revenue stamp for the prescribed fee to the application for disclosure of administrative documents and submitting it to the Digital Agency Information Disclosure Office.
If there is a decision of non-disclosure, you can make a request for examination to the Prime Minister according to the regulations of Administrative Complaint Review Act.
9. Payment of Disclosure Implementation Fee
When implementing disclosure, a disclosure implementation fee is required in addition to the disclosure request fee (Disclosure Implementation Fee List). However, until the total amount of the disclosure implementation fee reaches 300 yen per administrative document to be disclosed, it will be free of charge, and if it exceeds 300 yen, the amount will be the total amount of the disclosure implementation fee minus 300 yen.
Disclosure implementation fees will be collected using revenue stamps only. Whether you mail an application for disclosure implementation methods, etc. or submit it directly to the department, be sure to attach a revenue stamp equivalent to the prescribed fee.
For the amount of the disclosure implementation fee, please refer to Appendix 1 (PDF / 99 kb) of the Order for Enforcement of the Act on Access to Information Held by Administrative Organs (Cabinet Order No. 41 of 2000).
10. Inspection of reports on gifts, etc. by Digital Agency staff
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 9, Paragraph (2) of the National Public Service Ethic Law, etc., a copy of a report on gifts, etc. by an Digital Agency Employee exceeding 20000 yen per case may be viewed.
The details of the viewing are as follows.
Request for access and method
The viewer will request viewing by entering (I) name, (ii) address, (iii) phone number, (iv) e-mail address, and (v) the period covered by the report on gifts, etc. that he / she wishes to view in the e-mail listed in the contact information below.
The viewer shall receive the report on gifts, etc. (PDF file) sent from the person in charge of Digital Agency to the e-mail address of the viewer, browse it, and delete it promptly after finishing browsing.
Points of Attention Regarding Inspection Procedures Using the Internet
- Browsing procedures using the Internet are premised on having a telephone number and e-mail address that can be contacted and being able to receive PDF files.
- If a deficiency is found in the content of the request for viewing, the contact information provided in the e-mail will be contacted and the information will be made available for viewing.
