In the "digital society for the Realization of Priority plan" approved by the Cabinet on Friday, June 18, 2021 (2021), the "Transaction (Ordering, Billing, and Settlement)" field was designated as one of the areas in which mutual cooperation between information systems across industries is important. In addition, at the first Council for the Promotion of a Digital Society held on Monday, September 6, 2021 (2021), the "Contract and Settlement" field was listed as one of the "main items in digital reform for the time being."
Overview
Based on the Act on Promotion of Information Processing (nineteen seventy Act No. 90), Digital Agency has asked IPA to consider an architecture for implementation of contracts and settlements between companies that can be converted into data and grasped in real time.
IPA held a "Contract and Settlement Architecture Review Meeting" with the Digital Architecture Design Center (DADC), which is composed of a group of experts who serve as a bridge between the public and private sectors, as the secretariat, and was considering Architecture design. Based on the progress of the study to date, IPA compiled a "Green Paper on Building a Virtual Next-Generation Trading Platform," a "Reference Architecture," and a "Business use cases Collection," and received a progress report from Digital Agency.
Based on this progress report, demonstration projects and other meetings will be held by relevant ministries and agencies, and DADC plans to refine the architecture based on the results of demonstration projects.
Digital Agency will promote efforts to realize the digital completion of transactions in cooperation with relevant ministries and agencies.
