Mynaportal has released a function that allows online submission of birth registration.

Due to the revision of the Ministerial Ordinance of the Ministry of Justice, it has become possible to submit a birth certificate online without an electronic signature of a doctor, etc., to be attached to a birth notification.
Birth registrations and birth certificates must be submitted to the municipality within 14 days of the date of birth, but the use of Mynaportal will allow users to submit birth registrations online from smartphone, etc. without bringing the documents to the municipal office immediately after the birth.
However, please note that for online submission, the municipality of the registered domicile of the parent of the born child must support online submission.
Each municipality can respond to online submission by registering with Mynaportal. We can easily start the service by using the form of notification prepared by Digital Agency in advance, so please take advantage of it.
The local government where online submission is scheduled to start is as follows (as of September 17, 2024).
- Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture (started on August 30, 2024)
- Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture (started on September 4, 2024)
- Soeda-machi, Fukuoka (started on October 1, 2024)
- Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki (Starting date is being adjusted)
