Regarding "Digital Day," which is scheduled to be held for the first time in 2021, we will establish a "Digital Day Review Committee" to organize and review the ideal way and the direction toward the implementation of "Digital Day 2021."
Purpose of Establishment
In order to realize "a human-friendly digitalization that leaves no one behind," the government and private sector will jointly create "Digital Day" as an opportunity to regularly look back, experience, review, and share digital.
The first "2021 Digital Day" will be held on October 10 (Sun) and 11 (Mon), 2021, as a day consisting of "1" and "0", which are binary numbers often used in digital technology. Under the themes of "The First Year of Digital" and "Digital Debut," the public and private sectors will work together to create initiatives to commemorate the establishment of Digital Agency and opportunities to learn and interact with digital.
For the implementation of "2021 Digital Day," in addition to the initiatives of the "First Year of Digital" commemorating the establishment of Digital Agency, it is necessary to organize and examine from various perspectives the direction for the public and private sectors to cooperate in implementing initiatives such as creating opportunities for "digital debuts" and revitalizing industries by supporting the use of digital technologies by private sector enterprises, including SMEs, and area. Therefore, we will establish a "Digital Day Review Committee" consisting of academic experts and other experts in the Office of Information and Communications Technology (IT).
