Minister Taira attended the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2025*, held in Davos, Switzerland, on January 21, where he delivered a speech during the session on “Country Strategy Dialogue on Japan”.
*This year’s meeting convened under the theme “Collaboration for the Intelligent Age”, and it was held from January 20 to 24 at Davos, Switzerland. The meeting brought together nearly 3,000 leaders from over 130 countries.

Minister Taira participated in the session titled "Country Strategy Dialogue on Japan." He communicated Japan's digitalization progress, particularly on the policies in AI and cybersecurity, and outlined a vision for the future.
