The fourth meeting of the Digital Extraordinary Administrative Advisory Committee Working Group (hereinafter referred to as the "Working Group") was held today, March 10, 2022. Over the next two weeks or so until March 23, the Working Group will intensively hold four meetings, including this one, and discuss with each ministry and agency whether it is possible to streamline regulation and systems by using digital technology for seven items (visual inspection regulation, on-site inspection regulation, regular inspection regulation, Resident Dedicated regulation, written notice regulation, In-person Courses regulation, and regulation for Visiting Inspection).
In the first session, the Working Group presented policies for the inspection and review of compliance with the Digital Principles and how to proceed in the future. In the second and third sessions, the Working Group held hearings with companies that provide advanced technologies that can be used for the review of regulation and related ministries and agencies that conducted the preliminary review of regulation.
Based on the efforts made up to the third round, the Secretariat has organized the correspondence relationship on what kind of digital technology can be used to review the regulation and systems of the seven items, and is considering the type of cross-sectional review and the application phase of digital technology for each regulation and system of the seven items.
At the fourth and subsequent Working Groups, we will first select a regulation and system that is considered to be a major regulation and system from among the seven Issue and systems, discuss the region and issues to be reviewed with the competent ministries and agencies based on the types and phases being considered by the Secretariat, and organize the direction of the review.
In the future, through the discussions at the 4th to 7th Working Groups, the types and phases of the seven items and the review policies for major regulation and systems will be examined. In order to summarize the contents of the four discussions and convey them to the people in an easy-to-understand manner, the relevant materials will be posted on the Digital Agency website after the 7th Working Groups (scheduled to be held on March 23).
The schedule and proceedings of the Working Group are scheduled as follows.
