How to File a Registration of public money receiving account Application for Income Taxes
From January 4, 2023, you can apply for registration of an account for receiving a refund, etc. as a public fund receiving account in the procedure for filing a final income tax return (refund return).
If you have registered a public fund receiving account, you can designate a public fund receiving account as the account to receive the refund (using a public fund receiving account). * For the final income tax return for 2021, only a refund return using a My Number Card can be filed in a Registration of public money receiving account.
When applying for registration of the account to receive the refund as a public fund receiving account, please select "Register" with Registration of public money receiving account and file a final tax return.
- If the information of the deposit account is not correctly described, the public fund receiving account cannot be registered.
- Even if it is a financial institution that can receive a refund in a final tax return, it may not be registered as a public fund receiving account. Please check the financial institutions that can be registered as a public fund receiving account public fund receiving account .

- If you want to register another account, please do not apply for registration on your tax return, but register it from Mynaportal.
Written declaration procedure

- If you want to register the deposit account stated in the "Place for Receiving Refunded Tax" as a public fund receiving account, enter 0 in the "Consent to public fund receiving account Registration."
- If the taxpayer's My Number (Individual Number) is not correctly entered in the Tax Return Form, or if it is impossible to verify the identity of the taxpayer due to insufficient identification documents, etc., the taxpayer will not be able to register a public fund account.
- When applying for Registration of public money receiving account through the written declaration procedure, it may take longer to register than the electronic declaration procedure.
