The establishment of this Study Group is in accordance with the outline of the meeting in Material 1, and the members are as shown in the attachment. Professor Masahiko Shoji of the Faculty of Sociology at Musashi University will serve as the chairman.
The Secretariat explained the efforts of local governments to implement the character requirements in core business systems, the proposed revision of the character requirements, and the discussions toward the smooth introduction and operation of the character requirements in core business systems.

We have tried to identify it for a while, but after sifting it through one step, hundreds of thousands remained, and we have given up. Current identification information is stored for 150 years at the time of introduction of the numbering system, and there is also a debate over what to do with the characters of what has already been stored. In terms of schedule, we believe that Juki Net will need to be examined under a scope different from that of this Review Board.

On the other hand, we are considering with Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, including rough schedule, the cooperation of MJ + character and figure names when exchanging information such as moving-out certificate information between municipalities.

Regarding the Issue part, when the Juki Net was introduced, we asked to be identified as the characters of local government because the Juki Net uses unified characters.
