Today, on February 13, 2024, we began providing a benefit support service to support benefit affairs for the new economy.
From tomorrow, the 14th, actual use will start in some local government, and we will provide it to local government that want to use it gradually.

This service is an initiative to realize quick and efficient benefits by digital completion the process from application acceptance to payment.

In fiscal 2023, we plan to use the service in 17 local government, including Sagae City in Yamagata, Hashikami-cho in Aomori, Gyodashi in Saitama, Obama in Fukui, and Fukuoka in Fukuoka. In fiscal 2024, we plan to use the service in 71 local government, and we will continue to use the service in any local government of your choice.

Background of provision of benefit support services

In the COVID-19 pandemic, in the administrative processing of various benefit, such as special fixed-amount benefit, applications, examinations, and notification of results have not been digitalization, so Issue, such as requiring time and effort for payment, has emerged, and the necessity of digital reform has been recognized again.
In order to improve the situation, it is not reasonable for each of the 1,741 basic local government to carry out system development for front services and office processing for the public, so we have been building a system in Digital Agency based on the demonstration validation.

Expected effects of benefit support services

This service allows you to complete the process from receipt of application for benefits to payment digitally.
By reading the My Number Card, residents can automatically enter their personal information and public fund receiving account information, and they do not need to attach a copy of their passbook.
In local government, the administrative burden can be reduced because the content of applications can be collated using data instead of paper, and it will be possible to realize rapid and efficient benefits.
