Child
The government will promote the digitalisation of semi-public sector (children), which is closely related to people's daily lives and in which the involvement of the national government is significant and which has a large ripple effect on other private sectors, and will work on the coordination and utilization of data. Through this, the government will realize a prosperous life for the people by providing optimal services that meet individual needs.
Overview
It has been pointed out that support for children and families in difficult situations, such as poverty and abuse, is insufficient or difficult to reach because the actual situation is difficult to see and understand. In order to reach children and families who need necessary support, it is necessary to realize active "push" (outreach) and "one stop" support.
For this reason, municipalities and support organizations are utilizing information and data on individual children obtained in the process of health, welfare, education, etc., while ensuring the proper handling of personal information, etc., in order to identify such children and families, and to realize active "push type (outreach type)" and "one stop" support, the ideal way of cooperation of information and data is being considered. The government is not considering the construction of a database to manage children's information in an integrated manner.
The "Children's Policy DX," including this project, will be promoted mainly by Children and Families Agency, which was established in April 2023, and Digital Agency will support it as one of the related ministries and agencies.
