I applied for the open recruitment last year, but is it possible to apply this time as well?
Even if it is local government that applied for the previous recruitment, it is acceptable to apply for this recruitment.
Are there any restrictions on application depending on the place of residence?
The place of residence is not a requirement criterion for selection, but we would like to consult with you individually on whether or not it is realistically possible to perform the business in accordance with the frequency of remote work.
Are there any age restrictions for applying?
In this recruitment, there are no particular restrictions based on age. In addition, you are expected to engage in duties equivalent to that of a chief examiner or an employee in charge (Grades 1 to 3 of the Salary Schedule for Administrative Positions (1)).
Is it possible to make a remote work after employment?
When performing your work, you can telework remote work to the extent that it does not interfere with the progress of the project you are in charge of.
What is the selection process after application?
After application, we will conduct an interview if necessary after the document screening. The interview is expected to be conducted online in principle.

After employment, you will become a full-time national public officer in the regular service. Your government position will be "Digital Administrative Officer (Supervisor with Counselor)" (Officer level) or "Digital Administrative Officer (Supervisor with Counselor)" (Section Head level).
Is it possible to work for the dispatching company local government after employment?
After employment, you will become a full-time national public officer in the regular service category, and as a general rule, you will not be able to engage in concurrent employment (local government business).
What will my salary be like after employment?
Administrative Service (I) Salary Schedule Eligible for Grades 1 to 3. The salary step for each grade shall be determined based on the candidate's work experience, etc.
Is there a "current salary guarantee" (a guarantee of the amount of salary currently received)?
There is no current salary guarantee even if the amount is reduced compared to the salary currently received.

How is the retirement allowance treated?
It is a personnel exchange between the national government and a local local government, and as a general rule, it is considered to be subject to the provisions of Article 20 of the Act on National Public Officers' Retirement Allowance. Therefore, the Company believes that the payment of future retirement allowance will be calculated by totaling the period of service in the dispatching local government and the period of service in this agency.
Regarding the contribution of the Municipal Employees' Retirement Allowance Association, is the contribution related to the retirement allowance of the employed employee paid by Digital Agency?
Digital Agency does not pay contributions. Please contact the office of the municipal employee retirement allowance association to which you belong for the handling of personnel exchange to the national government.
Leave System
Please tell me about the leave system for national public employees.
Will you take over the annual paid leave of the dispatching company local government?
The amount of annual paid leave to be taken over is based on the following formula.
① + ② - ③ = Number of annual paid leave days to be taken over
(I) Remaining number of annual paid leave days as of the end of December 2022 (maximum 20 days)
② 20 days
(iii) Number of annual paid leaves used from January 1, 2023 to the last day of March 2023

Are you going to join the national mutual aid association?
Since you will be a full-time regular service national public officer, you will join the Mutual Aid Association of the Cabinet, which is a mutual aid association for Digital Agency employees.
If you are employed by Digital Agency, you will withdraw from the mutual aid association to which you belonged at the dispatching company local government. Therefore, you will not be able to receive the services provided by the mutual aid association to which you belonged at the dispatching company local government. (You may use the services provided by the Cabinet Mutual Aid Association.)
Is it possible to move into the dormitory?
If you are hired, it is possible to rent government employee housing.
In addition, after the job offer is made, we will confirm whether you want to rent or not.
If I need to move due to employment, is it possible to rent the accommodation owned by the dispatching company local government?
Depending on the location after employment, the candidate and the dispatching company local government may become "interested parties" and may fall under the prohibited acts of the National Public Service Ethics Code.
Assignment and Arrival
If I am hired, by when do I need to be assigned?
As a general rule, you will be assigned to your new position announcement date. However, if it is necessary to relocate your residence due to an issuance of an order, you will be required to assume your new position within seven days (April 8, 2023; however, since it is a Saturday, it is the 10th) from the day following the announcement date (April 1, 2023) pursuant to the internal rules of Digital Agency.
Will the expenses be paid if I need to move?
"Travel expenses for assignment" shall be provided to employees who move their residence for assignment and satisfy certain conditions. "Travel expenses for assignment" includes relocation fees and post-arrival allowances in addition to transportation expenses associated with relocation. Relocation fees are travel expenses provided to cover moving expenses. Post-arrival allowances are allowances provided in a fixed amount to cover expenses after arrival at the new residence (accommodation fees, etc. until moving into the new residence).
The conditions for payment are that the residence before employment is in a area that is recognized as outside the commuting area (*) and that the residence has been moved during the period of assignment.
*"Outside the commuting area" refers to the case where commuting is generally deemed to be difficult because the closest station to the residence is more than 70 km away from Nagatacho station or the total one way commuting time from the residence to Digital Agency is more than two hours.
With respect to public offering
It is taking time to select candidates, and applications cannot be made in time for the public offering period. Would it be possible to extend the period (could you respond to applications after the period expires)?
Please understand that we will select only the local government that you applied for by the deadline.
Is it possible to apply for more than one person? (There are already employees who have been dispatched (omitted and trainees), but is it possible to further dispatch them?)

When will it be known if I pass or fail?
We plan to contact you by the end of this year.
When communicating success or failure, will the location be made clear?
The placement will be considered after the job offer.
