In fiscal 2024, we started accepting applications for technical validation in surveys and research for the improvement of Technology Map.

In order to review the regulations on paper and in-person processes based on the digital principles, Digital Agency is conducting a technical validation in cooperation with ministries and agencies, which is under the jurisdiction of regulation, and local governments, from the viewpoint of confirming security and effectiveness.
We will invite business operators to participate in the Technology validation Project in fiscal year 2024 (fiscal year 2024) as outlined below. Overview

With the aim of solving Issue using an analog method, in cooperation with local governments and ministries and agencies, which is under the jurisdiction of regulation, we will conduct a public offering of the following (1) and (2) technical validation for implementation at the site (scheduled number of adoption: up to three projects for (1) and (2)).
The results of the validation will also be used to update the regulations on paper and in-person processes and technology catalogs maintained by Digital Agency in the Initiative on Technology Map and Technology Catalogs , which can be used for the Technology Map Review.

(1) validation of the possibility of using sensors, etc. in periodic inspections of piping equipment, etc. (in cooperation with Machida City)

Regarding the periodic inspection of specified building equipment managed by a local local government, etc., the state of degradation of the inside of piping equipment, etc., is confirmed using sensors, etc., and the remaining life is determined. Thus, validation is performed not only for maintenance and management, but also for rationalization, efficiency, and upgrading of quality assurance after the completion of public works.

• Main target regulation: Periodic inspection, etc. of specified building equipment based on Article 12, Paragraph 4 of the Building Standards Act and Article 6-2, Paragraph 1 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Building Standards Act
• Examples of technologies that can be used: optical and electromagnetic sensors, acoustic and ultrasonic sensors, X-ray transmission inspection, cameras, robots, etc.
  *Since the above technology example is an example, it is possible to propose other technologies (equipment) or a combination of multiple technologies.

(ii) validation of the possibility of using LiDAR, etc. in property surveys for general compensation necessary for the acquisition of public land, etc. (in cooperation with Saitama Prefecture)

For the on-site survey of buildings, etc., related to the land to be acquired, which is conducted to calculate the compensation amount at the time of acquisition of public works land, necessary measurements, etc., will be made using LiDAR, etc., and the compensation amount will be calculated based on the measured results, etc., and efficiency will be conducted to see if the rationalization, validation, and sophistication of the on-site survey can be achieved.

• Main regulation: General compensation for the acquisition or use of public land (acquisition of land, relocation of buildings, etc.) in accordance with the "Outline of Standards for Compensation for Loss Due to Acquisition of Public Land"
• Technologies that can be used: LiDAR, laser scanner, camera, drones, CAD system, 3D modeling, calculation system, AI, etc.
  *Since the above technology example is an example, it is possible to propose other technologies (equipment) or a combination of multiple technologies.
