Type 9: Demonstration of safety inspection and inspection using OCR, image analysis, etc. of drawings, etc.
Overview
Regarding regulation that requires inspection and inspection of the status of safety measures, etc. of facilities and equipment, we will make a validation on whether it is possible to substitute or rationalize by utilizing technologies such as image analysis by OCR and AI.

List of selected companies
Sharp Corporation (joint demonstration)
- Address: 1 Takumicho, Sakai Ward, Sakai-shi, Osaka
- Founded: 1935
- Representative: Isao Wu Bai
- Outline of demonstration: Regarding the reinforcing bar arrangement inspection work in which inspectors, etc. check and measure by visual inspection and manual work at the site, the same reinforcing bar is photographed by three cameras (reinforcing bar arrangement inspection system), and the obtained images are analyzed, and whether or not efficiency, etc. can be achieved by 3D modeling of the reinforcing bar arrangement is demonstrated. In the demonstration, 3D data and BIM data are compared from the image analysis results, and whether or not it is possible to determine the suitability, etc., of the reinforcing bar arrangement state is also demonstrated.
- Target services (law): Completion inspection and security inspection of safety measures (labeling, installation status, measures to prevent explosions, etc.), etc. of explosives manufacturing facilities and ammunition storage in accordance with the inspection method in Article 44 and Article 44-5 of the Building Standards Act

Miratec drones Co., Ltd.
- Address: 1-20-10 Ebara, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo
- Founded: 2020
- Representative: Yasuyuki Sasaki
- Outline of demonstration: By acquiring image data using a drones, laser scanner, etc., and modeling it in 3D, it will be demonstrated whether or not it can substitute for on-site inspection of safety measures such as equipment status and structure of gunpowder-related facilities.
- Target services (law): Completion inspection and security inspection of safety measures (labeling, installation status, measures to prevent explosions, etc.), etc. of explosives manufacturing facilities and ammunition storage in accordance with the inspection method in Article 44 and Article 44-5 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Explosives Control Act

DataLabs Co., Ltd.
- Address: 709 Nihonbashikobunacho, 8-6H ¹ O, Nihonbashikobunacho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo
- Founded: 2020
- Representative: Daisuke Tajiri
- Outline of demonstration: For reinforcing bar arrangement inspection work in which inspectors, etc. check and measure by visual inspection and manual work at the site, whether efficiency of work can be achieved by utilizing 3D data will be demonstrated. Specifically, by 3D modeling of reinforcing bar point cloud data acquired by a tablet, laser scanner, etc., it will be demonstrated using a "reinforcing bar arrangement inspection tool" unique to the operator that automatically extracts numerical information that needs to be checked in reinforcing bar arrangement inspection work.
