Q-1-1 What is the number of valid applications?

In the case of My Number Card applications, there are cases in which defects are found in the application contents, or the application itself is withdrawn at the will of the applicants.
The number of applications that can be considered valid after subtracting these from the total number of applications is referred to as the "number of valid applications" (response in December 2022).
Q-1-2 Why is there a difference between the number of valid applications and the number of Issue?

This is because there is a time lag between the application and the Issue. There is a time lag between the application for the My Number Card and the Issue due to the check of the application content and the Issue arrangement at each local government. In addition, there is a difference in the number because the Issue has not been implemented, such as the case where the Issue has been prepared but the receipt has not been completed yet. Q-1-3: You are disclosing information related to the My Number, but is there any concern that the personal data of citizens linked to the My Number will be disclosed or leaked?

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare provide data from which the information of specific individuals is excluded. In addition, the Agency handles statistical data from which all the information of specific individuals is excluded. Therefore, no information about individuals is handled as data. Q-2-1 What certificates can be issued at convenience stores, etc., other than a Copy of Resident Record?

The following certificates can be obtained.
The types of certificates that can be obtained vary depending on the municipality.
- Copy of certificate of residence
- Certificate of seal registration
- Certificate of items stated in resident register
- Various tax certificates
- Family registry Certificates
- Family registry Attachment copies

Q-2-2 Can I use a moving online service in the city where I live?

From February 6, 2023, in all municipalities, it is possible to submit a move-out notifications to the municipality from which you are moving through Mynaportal, and to contact the municipality where you are scheduled to move in (move-in appointments).
