Type 3: Demonstration of inspection of structures, etc. using drones, 3D point cloud, etc.
Overview
For regulation that requires inspection and investigation of the management status and damage status of targeted buildings and structures, we will conduct validation on whether replacement is possible by remote status confirmation and evaluation using technologies such as drones and AI image analysis.

List of selected companies
Eames Robotics Co., Ltd.
- Address: 65-1 Nanbara, Odakaku Hansaki, Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture
- Founded: 2016
- Representative: Eiji Sodani
- Demonstration overview: We will use a drones equipped with a high-resolution camera and optical sensor to acquire images and point cloud data of the target object, create a 3D model from the said data, and demonstrate whether completion inspection and security inspection of a visual inspection and a powder magazine, which are performed manually, can be performed remotely.
In the demonstration, based on the danger of explosives, appropriate safety measures such as mooring measures with drones spiders will be considered. - Subject service (law): Investigation for damage recognition of disaster-stricken houses based on Article 90-2 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Explosives Control Act

SOHGO SECURITY SERVICES CO.,LTD.
- Address: 1-6-6 Motoakasaka, Minato-ku
- Founded: 1965
- Representative: Ikuji Kainoki
- Outline of demonstration: Regarding statutory inspections of specified buildings, etc. (buildings satisfying a certain use and scale), which are conducted by visual inspection and sounding by qualified personnel visiting target facilities, it will be demonstrated whether inspections can be efficiently conducted while maintaining accuracy equal to or higher than that of conventional inspections even without qualified personnel visiting target facilities.
To be specific, an inspection assistant who is not necessarily qualified acquires images of each inspection point in real time using a drones, wearable device, or mobile terminal, and a qualified person who is remotely located verifies the images, and if necessary, verifies remote inspections such as instructing simple operations such as sounding. As a result, for example, it can be expected that legal inspections can be conducted by utilizing an inspection assistant who is on site without a business trip by a qualified person. - Subject service (law): Investigation for damage recognition of disaster-stricken houses based on Article 90-2 of the Building Standards Act, , Article 5, Paragraph 2, Article 5-2, Paragraph 1, Article 6-2-2, Paragraph 2, and Article 6-2-3, Paragraph 1 of the Building Standards Act Enforcement Regulations,

General Incorporated Foundation Nippon Building Equipment & Elevator Center
- Address: Uchisaiwaicho Caisse Bldg., 1-15-5 Nishi-Shinbashi, Minato-ku
- Founded: 1973
- Representative: Tsutomu Sakamoto
- Demonstration outline: Regarding the periodic inspection of the game facility (Ferris wheel, roller coaster, etc.) confirmed by the inspector by the visual inspection, it is demonstrated whether the corrosion, deformation, crack, damage, etc. of the structure and track can be judged by the image photographed by the remote operation by the drones.
In the demonstration, the structure and the state of the track part are photographed drones in the actual amusement facility. In setting the automatic flight route and the shooting position of drones, the possibility of inspection in the complex facility shape is arranged using 3D CAD drawings.

Miratec drones Co., Ltd.
- Address: 1-20-10 Ebara, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo
- Founded: 2020
- Representative: Yasuyuki Sasaki
- Outline of demonstration: The state of the object to be inspected is digitized by photographing the drones, etc., and a 3D model is created from this data. At the same time, image analysis using AI is performed, and it is demonstrated whether damage or degradation can be automatically determined.
In the demonstration, we will compare the aircraft differences in the drones to be used and the operating environments. At the same time, we will assume that drones investigation and inspection work in central Tokyo will be performed, and use the "Line drones System" to prevent flyaway, and confirm whether safe investigation and inspection work is possible.

Corporation
- Address: Toyosu Center Building, 3-3-3 Toyosu, Koto-ku, Tokyo
- Founded: 2022
- Representative: Yutaka Sasaki
- Outline of demonstration: Focusing on the work of residential damage recognition investigation in flood disaster, we will demonstrate whether it is possible to improve the efficiency of work by utilizing digital technologies such as drones, satellite images, GIS data, 3D models, and AI image analysis.
To be more specific, wide-area aerial images will be used to formulate a damage investigation plan, and drones and remote sensing will be used to image and visualize the target during the actual damage investigation. A 3D model will be created from the acquired data, and validation will be performed for automatic judgment of damage recognition by AI. - Subject service (law): Investigation for damage recognition of disaster-stricken houses based on Article 90-2 of the of the disaster response Basic Act
