On November 19, 2024, private sector (Cloudship Co., Ltd.) was approved by the competent minister for the use of Japanese Public Key Infrastructure.
On August 1, 2024, Mr. Kono, Minister for Digital Transformation, observed the demonstration of "the app for reading the IC chip in My Number Card (test version)" scheduled to be released in late August
On July 4, 2024, private sector (ACSiON Co., Ltd.) was approved by the competent minister for the use of Japanese Public Key Infrastructure.
