An interim report on the technical verification in the survey and research for the preparation of the technology map for fiscal 2024 was published.

In Digital Agency, for revising analog regulations based on digital principles, technical verification is carried out from the viewpoint of confirming security and effectiveness in cooperation with regulatory authorities and local governments.

For the two types of technical verifications currently being carried out as part of the technical verification project in fiscal 2024 (fiscal 2024), the following interim reports were published by each of the selected companies.

We will continue to verify the technology and publish a final report summarizing the results in fiscal 2024.

1. Verification of the possibility of using sensors, etc. in periodic inspections of piping facilities, etc. (in cooperation with Machida City)

Validation Overview

With regard to periodic inspections of specified building equipment managed by local governments, etc., we will use sensors, etc. to confirm the internal deterioration of specified building equipment (piping, etc.), determine the remaining life of the equipment, and verify whether it is possible not only to maintain and manage the equipment, but also to rationalize, improve the efficiency of, and upgrade quality assurance after the completion of public works by reducing repair costs.

2. Verification of the possibility of using LiDAR, etc. in property surveys for general compensation necessary for the acquisition of public land, etc. (in cooperation with Saitama Prefecture)

Validation Overview

With regard to the on-site investigation of buildings, etc. related to the land to be acquired, which is conducted when calculating the compensation amount at the time of acquisition of land for public works projects, necessary measurements, etc. will be carried out using LiDAR, etc., and the compensation amount will be calculated based on the measurement results, etc., and it will be verified whether the rationalization, efficiency improvement, and sophistication of the on-site investigation can be achieved.

• Main target regulations: General compensation for the acquisition or use of public land (acquisition of land, relocation of buildings, etc.) based on the "Outline of Standards for Compensation for Loss Associated with Acquisition of Public Land", etc.
