1. My Number
It is a 12-digit number assigned to all residents with a certificate of residence. The My Number is used for administrative procedures specified by law or regulation, such as social security system, tax system, and disaster response. The My Number makes it possible to identify individuals accurately and quickly. In addition, in administrative procedures, information linkages between public authorities, etc. reduces the number of necessary documents to be attached, smoothens administrative processing, and improves convenience for citizens. In addition, necessary administrative support can be provided quickly to those who need it.

Information linkages is the exchange of information necessary for administrative procedures between public authorities, etc. using a dedicated network system (Information Provision Network System).

2. 2. public fund receiving account Registry
Under this program, citizens are required to voluntarily register their savings accounts at financial institutions with the national government (benefit) as accounts for receiving money from Digital Agency, etc.
The account that can be registered as a public fund receiving account is a deposit account in the name of the person * 1 and one account per person * 2. For eligible benefit, etc., please see public fund receiving account, etc., which can be received using benefit .

- The only bank account that can be registered with public fund receiving account is the bank account in the name of the person.
For example, you cannot register a savings account in your parent's name as your child's public fund receiving account. - * 2 One account per person

2.3. Deposit and Savings Account Numbering System
The system for assigning My Numbers to deposit accounts (deposit account numbering system) is a system for notifying financial institutions of My Numbers.
By numbering bank accounts, from around the end of fiscal 2024 (planned), it will be possible to check the location of bank accounts to which My Number has been assigned at a single financial institution window in the event of an inheritance or disaster.

3. Safety Measures at My Number System

3.1. Institutional safety measures
